What is ClearCorrect?
ClearCorrect is a form of clear braces involving a standard 12-13 month orthodontic treatment that uses clear aligners to correct malalignment in the smile. The aligners will push and pull your teeth into a new, highly desired position throughout the process. At the beginning of your ClearCorrect treatment, it is essential to meet with one of our dental professionals to develop a specific treatment plan for your smile.
Once it has been decided that ClearCorrect is the best option for you, we will take impressions of your teeth to make molds that will assist in making your custom aligners. With the help of digital technology, we can create each pair of aligners to move your smile how you want it. The treatment is completely customized! Aligners are made to fit your exact smile anatomy and to help your teeth progress into place.
Each set of aligners is designed to put slight pressure on your teeth to move them into a better alignment. Throughout your treatment, every 2-4 weeks, you will be given a new set of aligners to continue the progress. Aligners are to be worn for a minimum of 22 hours out of the day to reach the end smile goal. You should only remove them to eat and practice good oral hygiene.
